Ann Bailey has been President of DARTS since June 2015 after an 18-year career as Technical Leader with the Target Corporation.
Ann's first experience with DARTS was in 2003 as a client receiving caregiver support during her father's eight-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Ann recalls, "DARTS not only helped me become better
educated about caregiving, but helped me focus on my own welfare so I could provide better care for my father."
Established in 1974, DARTS is a community-based nonprofit organization in Dakota County Minnesota that connects people to services and partnerships that improve their quality of life, help them age well,
and enable them to engage in their community. DARTS creates connections that enrich aging.

John Hinderaker is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School and practiced law for 41 years until he retired from law practice in 2015. John is a founder and frequent contributor to the Power Line blog, a fellow at the Claremont Institute, and President of Center of the American Experiment.

John's extensive writings on public policy include pieces where he has disputed the scientific consensus on human-induced climate change (5/1/2017), declared the Supreme Court ruling upholding marriage equality as antithetical to American democracy (6/26/2015), characterized former President Obama as a "thug" (6/21/2010), "not one of us" (8/18/2010), and running a "Gangster Government" (9/20/2010), sympathized with anti-government rancher Cliven Bundy (4/21/2014), and described the Mueller investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election as a political effort "to destroy the Trump administration" (7/21/2017).

John will present a study published by CAE which suggests that MnDOT and the Met Council deliberately encourage road congestion to force commuters onto transit.

Mr. Hinderaker lives with his family in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Shrapnel in the Heart is an adaptation of letters, stories and poems left at "the Wall" in Washington, DC.

"For the first time, one book gives voice to the haunting, painful, tender, and healing tales of those who lost so much in America's least popular war".
-- Barnes and Noble Book Review
"A moving, touching, generous book that helps restore humanity to a generation of young Americans who were depersonalized and dehumanized by the political passions of an unpopular war. Read it and weep."
-- Ted Koppel
