Stories
Come on, Robin, to the Bat Cave! There's not a moment to lose!
The world lost an icon this past week as actor Adam West died from a "short but brave battle with leukemia."  He was 88.  He was best known for his role in the series Batman which ran from 1966 to 1968.  As I was reading the quotes from Adam West, I found one that I think could be very appropriate to explain your Rotary experience:

“How many actors have a shot at being a part of something that became a part of pop culture? It’s been very rewarding. I’m not getting the 20 million bucks for the new movies, but at least I’m getting warmth and recognition from people wherever I go.”

Help us Maintain Clubrunner
Our local club's website, aka Clubrunner, is located at http://eagankick-startrotary.org/.  We use this site to communicate with our members.  Please help us maintain the site with your information so we can serve you better.  Remember, this is Rotary so it would be fair to all concerned to use this information in a way that doesn't meet the 4 way test.   We need pictures for the following members.  If you would prefer to use the picture next to this article for your profile, I will make that happen for you.

For new members, your Mentors should be helping you with getting this on the site.  For Mentors who don't know how to do this please contact me.  If you still can't get this done, send me the information and I will update it for you.  If you are still in witness protection, you will be excused.  I will maintain this list weekly until the site is up to date.  Thank you for your help.

Capitol Tour March 23
Are you ready to tour the MN State Capitol??????

We’ll meet this Thursday, 3/23, at 6:30AM at Granite City, and leave for our field trip to the Capitol.  Drivers, if anyone has trouble walking, Buzz says you can drop off riders at the Promenade under the Capitol steps.  There’s metered street parking on John Ireland Blvd and Cedar St, but be prepared in case the meters just take quarters.  You might want to look for a Lot.  We’ll meet in the Rathskeller, basement/tunnel level at 7AM for coffee and doughnuts.  Please look at the list below to make sure your name is included if you need a ride.  Email Karen Groves at karen.groves@thrivent.com with any changes ASAP.
