Twin Cities Traffic Congestion

John Hinderaker is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School and practiced law for 41 years until he retired from law practice in 2015. John is a founder and frequent contributor to the Power Line blog, a fellow at the Claremont Institute, and President of Center of the American Experiment.

John's extensive writings on public policy include pieces where he has disputed the scientific consensus on human-induced climate change (5/1/2017), declared the Supreme Court ruling upholding marriage equality as antithetical to American democracy (6/26/2015), characterized former President Obama as a "thug" (6/21/2010), "not one of us" (8/18/2010), and running a "Gangster Government" (9/20/2010), sympathized with anti-government rancher Cliven Bundy (4/21/2014), and described the Mueller investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election as a political effort "to destroy the Trump administration" (7/21/2017).

John will present a study published by CAE which suggests that MnDOT and the Met Council deliberately encourage road congestion to force commuters onto transit.

Mr. Hinderaker lives with his family in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
