In July, Eagan Kick-Start Rotary welcomed its seventh president, Dianne Miller!
Dianne has proudly worked for the City of Eagan for 20 years as Assistant City Administrator, overseeing several departments including Human Resources, Information Technologies, Elections and City Clerk functions. She also is the City’s point person on recycling and airport relations.
Dianne grew up in Burnsville and received her bachelors degree in public administration from St. Mary’s University and a masters degree in public administration from the University of Kansas.
Dianne discovered her passion for public service and community engagement through experiences such as working with the Red Cross, interning with local communities, and wielding an ax to dig trenches for water pipes in Guatemala. She first worked in public administration with the City of Overland Park, Kansas during graduate school before beginning her fulltime local government career with the City of Eagan.
Dianne has been married for 17 years to her husband, Justin, who is the City Administrator of Lakeville. They are blessed with four spirited daughters ranging in age from elementary to high school. The family dog, Elmer, is a giant Pyradoodle who is petrified of flies.
Away from the office, Dianne is a sports junkie and typically can be found on the sidelines of her kids’ soccer games, cheering on her Kansas Jayhawk basketball team, or walking and snowshoeing on the trails throughout Eagan’s parks and neighborhoods.
Welcome Dianne!
