Gerten's cards to be delivered at our next meeting 3/9
Gerten's Plant Cards will be delivered on Thursday March 9th for all who pre-ordered cards.  Our first order netted the club a profit of almost $400!  Our fund raising campaign will continue until the May business meeting so there is plenty of time to get your orders in.  We also need volanteers to visit other clubs to sell cards.  Our club goal is to raise $4000 to help fund club activities and to support our charity partners.

Here's the details of the campaign:

Checks need to be made out to Eagan Kick Start Rotary Club
Cards are sold at face value in either $25, $50 or $100 amounts
Club profit is 15% of sales
Any pre-ordered cards must be paid for when picked up
Order forms and a club information sheet will be distributed to all members
Order dates are 3/30 for delivery 4/6 and 4/20 for delivery 4/27
If you need cards outside of the delivery dates please contact Dave Verbeke
Will will also accept cash donations from anyone who wants to support our club.
Top 3 sellers will receive prizes based on total sales.

Thanks, Dave!  Way to Step Up!

Little Ways to Make a Big Impact with INTERACT

There are two upcoming opportunities to support Eagan High School Interact Club and the causes they impact:

1.  EHS Interact Annual Jean Drive
Please bring your extra jeans of any size to the Eagan Kick-Start Rotary meeting on Thursday, February 23, and Doreen Runquist will transport our donations to Eagan High School.  Donations ultimately support The Union Gospel Mission and the Aid Dah Yung Center in St. Paul.

2.  EHS Interact at Feed My Starving Children
Save the date to assist EHS Interact at Feed My Starving Children on March 14 at 2:30 p.m.  Sign-up at the EK-S Rotary Meeting this week to help out!  Mr. Wirsbinski tells the Interact students, "Have a Cause other than yourself."  They are a remarkable group of young people!
