When others were doing the last minute holiday scramble, these six members of the Eagan Kick-Start Rotary Club were preparing home cooked meals for families tending to someone in the hospital.  Cooks for Kids at the Ronald MacDonald House is open for service every day of the year.  A huge thank you to Anchor Bank and Steve Dobin for sponsoring the event.

After a long day at the hospital, families look forward to a “home-away-from-home” cooked meal. Cooks for Kids groups who plan, purchase, prepare and serve meals are bright spots in the day of a family staying at the Ronald MacDonald House.  They encourage volunteers to gather a group of friends, family or co-workers to sign-up to serve a meal at any of the four locations. The kitchens have everything needed to chop, slice, sauté, roast and bake your way into a family's heart.
