Those who contemplate the beauty of the Earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts...There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that dawn comes after night and spring after winter.

As most of us know, the Eagan Rotary clubs are hosting a young man from Italy - Giovanni. We need two more families who live in the Eagan High School district to serve as hosts for Giovanni starting at the end of November and then at the end of February.
Would you or someone you know be interested in serving as a host family? It's a very rewarding and enriching experience.
Would all of you who qualify, please give this serious consideration? And also please forward to persons in your network who could be hosts or who may know others who would want to be hosts. You don't have to be Rotarian but need a loving home (and pass a background check!).
Keevan (currently hosting Isa from Brazil) would be happy to answer questions about her experience, which has been great! Also, Ryan Murphy, our Rotary Exchange Officer who is doing a wonderful job in is role, is a great resource as well. Thank you so much for your help and consideration!

I grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota and graduated from St. Cloud State in 2000 with a degree in Geology. I am married, and my wife, Laura, is an Accounting Manager for Deluxe Corporation. After 14 years in the Chanhassen area, we moved to Eagan in the summer of 2016. Our house is currently run for the comfort of our two dogs, Rowdy and Bruno.
Laura and I like to travel, with cruises being our method of choice. We have been fortunate to visit 17 different countries, and escape many cold winter weeks via cruise ships. My other interests include geology, paleontology, disc golf, fantasy football, and enjoying time with family and friends.
My 16 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant have found me at Braun Intertec as a Senior Scientist in the Environmental Consulting Group. At Braun Intertec, I enjoy managing projects involving environmental remediation of Brownfields sites to facilitate redevelopment. It is fulfilling to see my work have a positive community impact while supporting my clients. I also support other service areas for Braun, including property transfer environmental assessments, asbestos, and lead-based paint investigations. My professional certifications include Licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Minnesota and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
